In front of the camera Providing confidential consultancy is at the heart of Crown Media's work. We will work with you to devise communications plans and strategies, or advise on approaches for desired outcomes to your issues and events.

We have worked in many environments, from benign domestic settings developing reputation through working day-to-day with the media, to hostile and fast running situations. A particular strength is emergency and crisis management, and risk assessment of media issues helping you put in place and test key messages to develop and maintain your public reputation.

Other examples include helping individuals prepare for hostile interview situations, such as can be encountered in consumer journalism. On the other hand we've worked to help interview subjects get the most from precious opportunities during a product launch or development.

Our services are often confidential, but you would recognise many of those we have trained from their successful tv and radio appearances. Not all have been in the front line of Government, the services, or commerce though - sometimes it can be an individual who the spotlight simply falls on and who wants support and skills to allow them to manage the media with confidence. Case Study 1: Exeter City Council needed specialist media advice to support its case to become a Unitary Council. Crown Media was able to advise, produce a dynamic strategy, and create specific solutions to communications issues around the debate.

Case Study 2: The Association of Port Health Authorities wanted to explore the development of the media and the opportunities it offers both for its own reputation and public education. Crown Media researched and produced a bespoke presentation to cover the issues, and also the risks faced by those unprepared for media engagement and unforeseen events.
