Crown Media wins major awards.


A SABRE award was presented to the company by Rear Admiral Adrian Johns CBE, and Mrs Mary Fagan, Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire in 2007. (Picture left)

In 2008/9, based on the unique aspects of our operation, we entered the Award for Innovation in the Hampshire Business Awards highlighting the work we have done to develop new techniques to deliver professional and cost-effective training and media simulation. (Picture above right)

Certificates of Appreciation have been presented by many clients including the Joint Force Training Centre run by NATO at Bydgoszcz in Poland, Eurocorps, NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Italy, the Land Component Command in Madrid, and the French Rapid Reaction Corps.

In December 2010, Crown Media was especially honoured to be presented with the Medal of Excellence by the Commander of the NATO Joint Force Training Centre, Major General Ib Johannes Bager, (Danish Army) at his new Headquarters in Poland. The award was made at a ceremony to mark the completion of the centre's first mission rehearsal exercise for the HQ controlling NATO's operations in Northern Afghanistan before an audience of 300 officers and senior personnel (Picture right).

For JFTC Crown Media has provided simulation to five mission rehearsals for NATO Headquarters deployed to Afghanistan, including German, Canadian, and Dutch led units. This is in addition to training UK forces deploying to the country.
